Caitlin Sweeny from HuffpostTV, presented some facts as to why we should watch the show when it returns every week, along with new episodes.
1. There is a lot of beauty: It’s CW TV, so cast is young and beautiful, so you will enjoy watching them every week on your screens.

2. Stefan is bad to the bone: Good brother Stefan went on journey filled with revenge, after Klaus was a power on him for most of the season.
3.The sexual tension that can be cut with a knife: In fact - it’s CW TV.
4. More deaths than in the productions of Joss Whedon (Buffy -the Vampire Slayer): If you’re like me and love the series, in which the writers are not afraid to increase the number of deaths, this series should satisfy your appetite after the next season of Dexter.
5. Great cast, great writers: This series has more curves and returns than the soap opera of the day (although it is usually more reliable). I have no doubt that the second half of the season will wash away my breath away every Thursday.

Is that True Blood? - No, it’s better with a much lower number of orgy.
Is it Buffy - the Vampire Slayer? - No and it does not try to be.
Is it Twilight? -I think that question is offensive, and I bet that Damon would react similarly. :)
